Meet Masae





My History

Born in artists' and medical doctor's family, Masae Shiwa started her music training with Michiko Yoshida and ballet training with Tomoko Kurosawa at the age of three. Since then, she became a winner of numerous piano and ballet competition and performed in the major concert halls and arts festivals nationally and internationally. She graduated from Fordham University in NY with Bachelor degree in Business Administration and received Certificate from Berklee College of Music with Arts Management. 

After her return to Japan, she served Cultural Section at the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina in Tokyo. She worked and collaborated with world re-known artists including Martha Argerich, Pablo Ziegler, Bruno Gelber, Jose Colengelo, Jairo, Maria Kodama (Jorge Luis Borges's widow), Juan Gelman, Mora Godoy, Marcos Zimmerman, Martin Churba (Tramando), Ricardo Celma, Adrian Lirman, Andres Bardon among others. 

Shiwa currently resides in New York and specializes in Artist Consultant by social media marketing, branding, producing promotional videos and artist photos, designing website, producing and coordinating events, concerts, recording and art exhibitions. As a translator and interpreter, she collaborates with broadcasting companies including TV Asahi Corporation, NHK, Fuji Television Network, and TBS Television by providing translation for documentary programs between English, Spanish and Japanese. She also translates masterclass, press interview, and multi-lingual websites for artists.

​She is also passionate about raising fund for the Great East Japan Earthquake by organizing charity concerts and special events and supports the nonprofit, nongovernmental organization that funds medical treatment and healthcare programs such as Friends Without A Border.

Her hobby is culinary arts and traveling.
